The Case Company was approached by Roche Media & Design on behalf of The In Good Company/IE Music, Robbie Williams’ management company, seeking unusual and eye-catching casing for the celebrity to present his new single to BBC Radio 1 Breakfast DJ, Chris Moyles.
Using The Case Company’s ‘Funky Vinyl CD Case’, Roche Media creatively personalised the black vinyl finished case by hiring a sign-writer to cut out the detail on the front cover.
Impressed with the result - a unique, stylish and attractive CD holder – Robbie's management requested a second one for another promotional initiative for a radio DJ. This time, it was to showcase, ‘Make Me Pure’- a track from the Robbie Williams’ much awaited new album, ‘Intensive Care’, for BBC Radio 2 DJ, Chris Evans, also coinciding with the start of the presenter’s new afternoon radio show.
Gull, Project Manager at Roche Media & Design, said: “We were very impressed at how quickly and efficiently The Case Company fulfilled this brief. Robbie Williams is a high profile artist and his new single is eagerly anticipated by the industry and fans alike. Promotional singles are usually in cardboard sleeves, which are not particularly exciting. We wanted something extra special and different. The casing sourced was funky and modern, reflecting the singer’s image and also doubles up as artist memorabilia. We found the perfect solution through The Case Company.”
